Dessert façon tarte tatin avec sauce caramel

Tarte Tatin with Caramel Sauce

Ingrédients
  

  • 190 g flour
  • 165 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 60 ml water
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp caramel sauce
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream

Instructions
 

  • Mix the flour, butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add water to make the dough smooth. Roll it out on a floured surface.
  • Peel the apple, remove the core, and slice it thinly.
  • Mix the apple slices with brown sugar, cornstarch, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  • Spread the apple mixture in the center of the dough.
  • Fold the edges of the dough up several times as shown in the picture.
  • Brush the dough with beaten egg. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples, sprinkle with walnuts, and bake at 190°C for 35 minutes.
  • Top the tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with more caramel sauce.
